This was one of my favorite sessions to date. This stunning mama rocked her maternity session!

My new studio is finally open and I had the privilege of capturing this beautiful mama just weeks before she meets her sweet boy! And goodness, it may just be one of my favorite sessions to date. When I designed my studio, I really wanted it to be simple, bright and airy. I wanted the natural light to take center stage and it is better than I ever dreamed. This stunning mama rocked this shoot and was so much fun to work with!

FRESH 48 | KARA

There's no better feeling than walking into a hospital room and immediately seeing all of the love and joy that comes with a new baby - it's truly the greatest privilege to freeze these moments.

This beautiful girl arrived on October 12th and I was able to capture her with her parents just 48 short hours later. At the risk of sounding repetitive, I adore Fresh 48 sessions. I always finish each session with a smile on my face as I know that each family is about to experience the next great chapter in their life. Babies are just pure joy and sweet Kara was no exception and it was apparent that her parents were aware of just how blessed they are to have this sweet girl as their daughter.

CAKE SMASH | EMERSON'S FIRST BIRTHDAY

I can hardly believe that my beautiful girl is O N E. Everyone warns you that it goes by so fast, and fast seems like an understatement. I mean, I blinked and here we are one year later.

Emme was an answer to many, many prayers. I still catch my reflection every once in a while, a baby on my hip, and I am stopped in my tracks. I can't believe that is me, with the baby I prayed for for years. I am forever grateful for this life. Emerson fills my days with all the joy I ever dreamed of.

Happy first birthday to you, sunshine girl. You are so, so loved.

FAMILY SESSION | SMITH FAMILY

We started this session in Hyde Park and ended on beautiful Bayshore Blvd! This Smith family was a blast to work with - their sweet boy, Avery, was sleeping when they arrived to their session but as soon as he woke up - he was all smiles. Can you say dream baby? My favorite part of photography is watching families interact and capturing their love for each other and this session was no exception!

The weather is finally cooling off here in Tampa and I couldn't be more excited. It's definitely the perfect time of year to enjoy the outdoors.
